Alan Wayne Bradley (Haint)
Alan Wayne Bradley, who goes by an old nickname Haint, was born October 2, 1947, in Red Bank, Tennessee. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. He moved back to the South and lived in Lafayette, Georgia for the coming years.
Haint creates unique, incredibly intricate pieces of abstract and geometric artwork. The designs are colorful with layer upon layer of geometric patterns that all fit Goethe to create amazingly textured shadowboxes. He uses recycled matting board and acrylic paint. His works are scriptural in nature, he believes the circles in his artwork symbolize God’s creation. He often attached index cards covered in scriptures to the backs of his shadowboxes. Bradley works in several media including wire, expanding foam, and transparent plastic. He also paints on canvas and loves to draw pen and ink circles.
