Jerry Brown

Mr. Brown has been honored as a "Alabama Folk Heritage Award" & "National Endowment Heritage Fellowship Award" for the tradition and excellence of his craft.

Many aspects of his work sets it apart from that of contemporary studio potters. He digs his own clay, processes it with a mule powered pug mill, and fires his wares in a ground hog kiln. He specializes in "Face Jugs," prized by today's collectors.
